Japan
A harmonious blend of ancient traditions, futuristic cities, and stunning natural landscapes.

Japan offers a unique mix of timeless culture and cutting-edge innovation. Travelers can explore neon-lit Tokyo, walk through Kyoto’s tranquil temples and geisha districts, soak in hot springs in Hakone, or experience Hokkaido’s pristine wilderness.
Known for its exceptional cuisine, efficient transportation, and deep-rooted traditions, Japan delivers an endlessly rich travel experience.
Japan can be visited year-round, but each season offers something special:
- Spring (Mar–May): Cherry blossom season; mild weather and iconic scenery.
- Autumn (Sep–Nov): Beautiful fall foliage and comfortable temperatures.
- Winter (Dec–Feb): Ideal for skiing in Hokkaido and visiting hot springs.
- Summer (Jun–Aug): Lush landscapes, festivals, and beach season in Okinawa, though humid in cities.
Many nationalities can enter Japan visa-free for short tourist stays. Others may require a visa in advance. Always confirm requirements before traveling.
- Currency: Japanese Yen (JPY). Cash is still widely used, though cards and IC transport cards are increasingly accepted.
- Transport: Japan’s rail network is world-class; the Shinkansen (bullet train) is fast and reliable.
- Culture: Bowing, punctuality, and quiet public behavior are important. Shoes are removed in many traditional spaces.
- Connectivity: Pocket Wi-Fi and SIM/eSIM options are easy to obtain.
- Safety: Japan is one of the safest countries in the world; crime is extremely low.
